sick Josey
I took Josey to the doctor Friday and he said that she has an upper repiratory infection. She is on breathing treatments every 4 hours, steroids for 5 days, and antibiotics for 5 days. The breathing treatments are HORRIBLE because she acts like we are torturing her. Back to the doctor today to see what they are going to do now since she isn't getting better very quickly.

summer details
Now that I've got my pictures posted from the summer, I'll give y'all some details. Josey has reached several major milestones. She learned to crawl. I was so glad to get to be home with her everyday to see her get to learn this. She started first going from lying on her stomach to sitting up by pushing her hands backwards until she was sitting up doing the splits and then she would move her legs to help her sit up better. She looks hilarious doing the splits. Then she started crawling backwards. After several days of that, she progressed to forward crawling. It took her no time at all to learn to go VERY fast. Now she is pulling up on EVERYTHING. It seems like she is growing so fast. I wish she would slow down just a little to give me time to adjust to the fact that she isn't really a baby anymore.
Josey got a new saddle this summer. Mom and I went to the flea market in Jewett and happened upon it. It is adorable. I'll take some pics of her with it for y'all to see.
Josey got her ears pierced at the end of July. She didn't even cry when they did the first one. When they did the second ear, she cried for just a second and then she got happy. She has done great with them and they make her look very grown up.
We went to Kindermusik this summer once a week for eight weeks and I totally recommend it. Josey liked it a lot. It is nice to give her time to interact with other children close to her age. I plan on doing it again next summer.
I'm sure there is more that I could tell y'all but I can't think of any right now.

Tons of pictures!
Mom bought Josey her very own hat at the State 4-H Horseshow. Josey loves it. She will wear it and not even bother it. You can't see in this picture, but it has her initials on one side and her brand on the other.
If you look closely, you can see Josey's two bottom teeth in this picture. She is such a happy girl.
Riley isn't in this picture but she is in the chair right by Josey. Josey likes Riley and wants to follow her around. I'm not sure that the feeling is mutual all the time, but I think that Riley is getting more used to her.
I bought these bandana pants on etsy.com and I LOVE them. They look so cute and I've never seen another kid in something like them. They have them in all colors and I am buying another pair soon.
Now that Josey can crawl, everytime you try to take her picture, she usually tries to come to you. Or maybe she just does that to me. She's pretty partial to her mama.

We're back!
I love taking cutesy photos of my kid. She just cracks me up.
Josey went swimming quite a few times. She LOVES the water. She kicks her legs very hard so she can move around. Next summer we are going to take her to swimming lessons.
Josey met Rustyn. He looks tiny here, but we saw him this past weekend and he's much bigger now. Josey does NOT like for me to hold Rustyn. In fact, she cries hysterically. When they get bigger, I know they'll be good friends.
Sorry for the VERY long time between posts. It was a fabulous summer. I'll give more details about what all we did later, but here are some newer pictures to see. These are all in early June so I'll post more tomorrow that are much more recent.
